Our programs
The most important goal of our early childhood curriculum is to help children become competent and capable learners. The curriculum should encourage children to be active and creative explorers who are not afraid to try out their ideas and to think their own thoughts. Our goal is to help children become independent, self-confident inquisitive learners.
We aim to give the children time to learn at their own pace. We encourage the development of good habits and attitudes, particularly a positive sense of self, which will make a difference throughout children’s lives.
Daily Programs and the Programming Process
The programming process ensures that the activities provided for the children are appropriate and meet the developmental needs of individuals and the different age groups.
The curriculum is based on children, teachers and parent’s interests. It encourages children to explore and investigate their environment and the journey is ever-changing. The room environment is set in a way that supports the children to explore, learn, collaborate, reflect and communicate.
The children’s routines are incorporated into the program (eating, toileting, sleeping, dressing) and staffs are responsible for planning experiences which foster skills and maintain the individuality of each child’s routine.
Our curriculum and programming covers all areas of development
A copy of the program is displayed in each room.
This allows parents to see what their children have been learning throughout the day and also provides parents an opportunity to comment on our program.
